Available Intakes and Courses in France for 2025: Which intakes are available

In this blog, I will explain which courses are available for the February and September 2025 intakes. If you are planning to go in February, I will discuss your current options, and if you aim for September 2025, I will also provide information on fees and available options.

Current Intakes and Courses:

Campus France has opened its portal, and universities are starting to announce their admissions for September 2025. For students considering the February intake, there are currently only two options available:

  1. Paris School of Business
  2. Eta University (offering IT and engineering courses)

For February 2025, there are no bachelor’s courses available, but five master’s courses, mostly related to computers, are still open.

Application Process for February Intake:

If you plan to apply for the February intake, it’s important to submit your complete file as soon as possible. You should connect with top consultants and sign up quickly as only a few days are left for applications.

Courses Available for September 2025:

For September 2025, many universities are open for both bachelor’s and master’s courses. Here are some of the universities offering admissions:

  1. Paris School of Business
  2. Eta University
  3. University of Cote d’Or
  4. University of Burgundy
  5. University of Tours
  6. Polytechnic University of Paris

Bachelor’s Courses:

The courses available for bachelor’s programs are somewhat limited and include:

  • Management
  • Social Sciences
  • General Sciences
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Business

Master’s Courses:

There is a broader variety of master’s courses, including:

  • Cultural Arts
  • Business
  • Data Sciences
  • Molecular Biology
  • Bio Bank Courses
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Management
  • Fashion Industry
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Finance

Fee Structure:

Public universities in France charge relatively low tuition fees. For example, around four to five universities offer the national fee, which is approximately 243 to 250 Euros per year. Many students prefer these universities due to their affordability, but your profile needs to be strong to secure admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Low-Fee Universities:

To qualify for universities with low fees, your academic background must be strong. Requirements include:

  • Marks above 80% in matriculation, FSC, and bachelor’s
  • CGPA above 3.5
  • IELTS band of 6.5 or higher
  • Strong motivation letter
  • Excellent interview performance

Students meeting these criteria are eligible for scholarships at public universities with minimal fees. Other public and private universities charge between 4,000 to 10,000 Euros per year. Although some private universities charge as high as 11,000 to 12,000 Euros, they are usually not recommended due to their high fees.

Admission for Low-Profile Students:

Even if you have a lower academic profile, such as 50% marks, you still have options. France offers admissions to students with lower marks, and some of our students with lower scores have successfully secured places in French universities. For example, one student with 572 marks recently went to France for the September 2024 intake.

List of Universities:

Here are some public and semi-government universities that offer affordable courses:

  • University of ESC
  • Clairemont University
  • Sciences Po University
  • Paris Saclay University
  • Badix University
  • Grenoble University
  • Rennes University

These universities offer courses with fees ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 Euros, depending on the program and your profile.

Early Application Advantage:

Applying early increases your chances of admission. If you wait until the end of the intake to file your visa process, you may face rejections. It’s advisable to start your application process as soon as the universities open admissions to avoid last-minute issues.

Conclusion:

France offers a wide range of courses for both February and September intakes in 2025, with options for bachelor’s and master’s programs. While some programs are more affordable, they require a strong academic profile. However, even students with lower profiles have options. Early applications are key to ensuring a smooth process and avoiding visa rejections.
